What if one of us were to die in Spain?
 
The death of a family member or close friend is always a very difficult time. A death must be certified by a doctor/coroner and registered in the Civil Registry of Spain and the deceased’s passport returned to the appropriate consulate. The funeral director (director de pompas funerales) will handle all of the formalities.
